01 / ABOUT THE PLACE

About this place

Sennaritei’s signature handmade jumbo gyoza arrive at the table with hearty wrappers generously stuffed with a vegetable-forward filling. With their aromatic, crisp-browned sear and substantial volume, they hold their own as a dependable companion to a bowl of noodles.

The noodle menu is broad, spanning everything from spicy Sichuan ramen topped with scallions and roast pork to Canton men ladled with braised savory vegetables and a clean, salt-based tanmen broth. With options like a special miso ramen crafted from seven blended miso varieties alongside classic old-school ramen, choosing a broth to suit the day's mood is part of the shop's neighborhood charm.

The selection of rice dishes and à la carte plates is equally grounded in unpretentious favorites, featuring stir-fries like twice-cooked pork in sweet miso sauce and liver with garlic chives, alongside tenshindon topped with fluffy egg and sweet-and-sour sauce. Guests can also linger over their meal at an easy pace, sharing savory plates with a glass of beer or another drink.

Set along the Shibamata-kaido road, the restaurant offers dedicated free parking, including spaces behind the building, making it convenient to visit by car. Whether for a solo lunch or an evening meal with family, it remains an inviting local fixture to step into whenever the craving strikes.
